Born in Medan, he was a kid with hobbies which include gaming, drawing, sketching, sports and no passion for the orthodox studies in local school which he found boring and pointless.

However despite his lack of interest on local school subjects, he managed to acquire his certificate of graduation from SMA Sutomo I IPA high school and later continue his study in the field of building design in a local tuition of PMCI while preparing himself for abroad study.

​

After completing his Architecture studies in Tainan's renowned National Cheng Kung University which saw him graduate with a merit from Taiwan government he later decided to return to his hometown to study the family trade while hoping to extend the life of the family business. To his surprise though after attempting to apply to a NUS GSA (National University of Singapore - Graduate Scholarship of ASEAN) program, he was later awarded the scholarship and thus continue his studies on Urban Design in NUS.

With his accumulated degrees, he then later tempted on tasting the industry in Singapore through work experience and was pivotal in several high-rise and commercial projects he was involved in.

Today Mr. Wiediono Tjhin actively indulge himself in numerous projects in both residential & commercial realm and is an active member of North Sumatera IAI (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia).
